Spicy Ahi Poke Wontons
Poke is a staple and is always at every potluck, birthday party, and family gathering. This is poke with a twist using minimal ingredients with a whole lot of flavor.

Spicy Ahi Poke Wontons

Ingredients
Spicy Ahi Poke, 1/2 Pound
Wonton Wrappers, 1 Package
Jalapenos, 2-3 Jalapenos
Unagi Sushi Sauce
Green Onions
Neutral Oil

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound spicy ahi poke
- 1 package wonton wrappers (Sun Noodle Brand recommended)
- 2-3 jalapenos, sliced thinly (approximately 1/8" thick)
- Unagi sushi sacue (Kikkoman brand recommended)
- Green onions for garnish
- Neutral oil for frying
- Water
Directions
- Place approximately 1 tablespoon of poke on the wonton wrapper and top with a jalapeno slice.
- Add a little water on all edges of the wrapper to ensure the wrapper closes. Fold the wrapper into a triangle, securing the poke and jalapeno in place. Then fold both tip corners in to form a "purse-like" shape.
- On medium to high heat, deep fry in neutral oil for a few minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Place on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
- Once slightly cooled, arrange on a serving plate and drizzle unagi sauce on the wontons. Garnish with green onions and enjoy!
