Foodland Certified Angus Beef Classic Burgers, 2 Patties
Maui Onion, 1 Large Onion
Mushrooms, 4 Mushrooms
Maika`i Maui Onion & Garlic Mustard, 1 Tablespoon
Onion Buns, 2 Onion Buns
Optional: Provolone Cheese, 2 Slices
Optional: Mayonnaise, 1 Tablespoon

Ingredients

  • 2 Foodland Certified Angus Beef Classic Burgers
  • 1 large Maui onion (sliced)
  • 4 mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon Maika`i Maui Onion & Garlic Mustard
  • 2 onion buns
  • Optional: 2 slices provolone cheese
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon mayonnaise

 

Directions

  1. In a skillet, cook sliced onions in butter over medium heat until soft. Add sliced mushrooms midway through and cook until golden brown. Set aside.
  2. Grill burger patties or pan fry 2-3 minutes each side, or until you achieve your desired doneness. Remove from heat and place provolone cheese on top to begin melting.
  3. Toast buns, insides down, on a grill surface for 20 seconds.
  4. Place the cooked patty with cheese on the bottom bun. Next, add the caramelized onions and mushrooms. Then finish with a light topping of Maika`i Maui Onion & Garlic Mustard and mayonnaise to the top bun.
