Project Keiki is a Foodland community program that benefits the Hawai`i Foodbank, The Food Basket - Hawai`i Island's Food Bank, Maui Food Bank, and Hawai`i Foodbank Kaua`i, specifically, programs at each organization that provide food to children during summer break.
In Hawaii, 1 in 3 keiki is food insecure. For some keiki, school is their only reliable source of food. The food banks' keiki programs help ensure children have consistent access to food, even when school is not in session.
