    Ingredients

    • 3 lbs. chicken thighs, boneless, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
    • 1-1/2 cups flour
    • 1/2 cup corn starch
    • salt and pepper, to taste
    • 2 cups Aloha Shoyu
    • 2 cups sugar
    • 1 cup garlic, chopped
    • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
    • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
    • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

    Directions

    1. Combine sauce ingredients shoyu, sugar, green onion, garlic, chili pepper flakes and sesame oil. Bring to a boil, simmer until the sugar dissolves and the sauce thickens. Set aside. 2. Take some of the cooled sauce and marinate the chicken. 3. Combine flour and cornstarch. Season the flour mix with salt and pepper. Dredge chicken in flour mix & deep fry. 4. Toss in sauce and serve.
